Exclusive features of Camp Leader

Superb educator work is what makes our camp different from all other camps in the US. Where but our pioneer summer camps and the schools of our childhood did educators indeed instill morals and eternal values in children? Where else did children learn how to resolve conflicts, make friends, respect the elders, aid the little ones, teach boys to treat girls as true gentlemen? We are proud to state that “Leader” camp is the place where our teachers and counselors are doing this noble work. Only professional educators work at our camp. We cherish our reputation and this is what makes our camp exclusive. Comfort, quality food and entertainment are commonplace now and our camp is no different. However, our guests come for something more than that – they come for friendship, for realization of their own unique potential and the fact that others have unique potential as well, they come for the culture and for the Russian language.

Another great thing about our camp is order and discipline. Yet, it is not the totalitarian kind of discipline but rather an accepted rule that is recognized inevitability. Our guests have some chores like: making one’s bed, keeping the sleeping quarters and camp grounds neat and clean, keeping one’s clothing neat and clean, some overall camp and mess hall duties. After a while children realize how important is to be organized, disciplined and be able to take care of themselves. This is not something you see often in summer camps and this is another distinctive feature of our camp!
